About Visit Bend

Visit Bend is a non-membership, non-profit economic development organization dedicated to promoting tourism responsibly on behalf of the City of Bend. Visit Bend works in good partnership with all sectors of the Bend and Central Oregon community and economy. We follow business practices and policies set forth in our bylaws.

When you’re in town, be sure to stop by the Bend Visitor Center at our location in ​downtown Bend. Our friendly staff will greet you with a smile and offer suggestions on what to do and see during your visit. While at the Visitor Center you can pick up maps to help you find your way on the streets and trails, shop for Bend and Bend Ale Trail souvenirs, and learn more about our Leave No Trace partnership.

The Bend Sustainability Fund

The Bend Sustainability Fund reinvests tax revenue generated by visitors into the places and spaces that are important to our community. Since inception In 2021, we have awarded $2,290,000 to 17 projects, ranging from an urban bike park in Bend to a summit experience loop trail on Mt. Bachelor. The Bend Cultural Tourism Fund

The Bend Cultural Tourism Fund (BCTF) is a grant program created to enhance Bend’s economy through cultural tourism. From musical productions to art exhibits to film festivals and more, the BCTF supports cultural opportunities that draw visitors to Bend. The program awarded nearly $725,000 to cultural tourism organizations in 2015 - 2021.
