Take Your Love of Bend a Step Further

Pledge for the Wild

Give Back to Bend

Famous for both its outdoor activities and pristine beauty, the city of Bend, Oregon has been dubbed the “outdoor playground of the West” for a thousand good reasons. Visitors and locals alike enjoy world-class skiing at Mount Bachelor, fly-fishing on the Deschutes River, hiking and snowshoeing among the mountains of the Three Sisters Wilderness, and mountain biking in Deschutes National Forest, just to name a few.

Bend is a proud member of Pledge for the Wild, a group of mountain towns supporting responsible tourism in wild places. Pledge for the Wild is committed to sharing responsible tourism tips, while helping those who are passionate about nature conservation give back to local nonprofits that care for these wild places day to day.
