Wanoga Sno-Park is a winter playground for families, nordic skiers, fat bikers, snowmobilers, and dogs because of its awesome access to sledding hills, fat bike trails, snowmobile trails, and its dog-friendly. In summer months grab your mountain bike because Wanoga is the perfect access point to some of our favorite techie rides like Funner and Tiddlywinks.
Winter time at Wanoga offers some good old fashion family fun with a sweet hill for sledding and tubing. Your kids will have a blast and for you grown-ups, you’ll feel like a kid again as well. There’s also a two mile nordic trail that’s relatively open and flat. Since Wanoga’s dog-friendly it’s the perfect place to bring your four-legged bestie. Snowmobilers are also welcome with plenty of parking and an easy access point to over 180 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
Want to try fat biking? Wanoga has two groomed fat bike trails. Starting at the East parking lot you’ll find a three mile and six mile loop just for fat bikes. Grooming starts January 1st and be sure to check conditions by calling a local bike shop or using BendTrails before you head up.
During summer months Wanoga turns into a perfect place to park and access mountain bike trails. You get direct access to Funner, Tiddlywinks, Storm King, and Larsen’s. Miles of fast, flowy, and feature rich MTB trails right from the parking lot.
Wanoga Sno-Park is located about 15 miles west of Bend on Cascade Lakes Highway. You’ll find a large parking lot with a warming shelter that’s wired for electricity and a restroom (vault toilet), however, there is no water. A Sno-Park permit is required November 1st through April 30.
