Looking for someone else to handle the driving, planning, and navigating? Cog Wild Bicycle Tours can take you on an unforgettable outing on more than five hundred miles of trail for all skill levels. They’ve even got lessons if you want to improve your skills.

If three seasons of biking is not enough, Wanoga Sno-Park offers groomed loops just for fat bikes starting in January. And if there’s enough snow, lower trail systems like Phil’s and the River Trail make for close-to-town wintertime rides. Curious about riding on snow but not ready to commit? Local Bend bike shops rent fat bikes, so you can give those giant tires a spin. East side trails are often clear of snow for at least some part of the winter, if snow is not your thing. Always check BendTrails for trail conditions before heading out.
