If public transportation is more your style, Cascade East Transit runs a bus route that not only covers the city of Bend, but offers routing to Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and more. They even operate a variety of recreation-based shuttles, including the Ride the River bus for summertime floaters, the Mt. Bachelor shuttle for winter sport enthusiasts, and the Ride Bend shuttle which moves people around the city’s hottest spots like downtown and the Old Mill District during peak summer season.
